Overview: 

Occasionally you may be asked by a PostEngine team member to clear the cache in your PostEngine settings page. Typically this will happen if changes have been made to your PostEngine software.

To access your PostEngine settings page:

If you're using the PostEngine Chrome extension - 

  1. Open Google Chrome, click on the puzzle-piece icon in the upper right corner of the Chrome browser window.
  2. Click on the blue, PostEngine icon.
  3. Click Settings.

If you're using the PostEngine for Desktop application -

  1. Open PostEngine for Desktop.
  2. Click PostEngine Settings on the left-hand side.

How to Clear your PostEngine Cache

1. Click Maintenance at the very bottom of your settings page.

2. Click the green Clear Cache button located in the Clear Cache section.

3. Your cache is now clear! Click Save & Close to close the tab.

Troubleshooting

Why do I need to clear my PostEngine cache?

Sometimes cached data can interfere with the functionality of your PostEngine software, resulting in missing Post Now buttons! Clearing your PostEngine cache will typically resolve this.

I cleared my cache and am still running into issues. What do I do next?
